After exams dinner with uni mates and cheap alcohol!

our last paper was international marketing. 

and finally after a year of hard work, we got our well deserved break. 

like finally? ! 

we dun have the privilege of such long holidays during our study. 

no term break, no semester break. 

and these 4 months of long break it's something that i had longing for.

to rest, to earn money, to enjoy, 

being stress free from school.

currently i got a job, it is located near by house, 

and i super save my traveling time, transport fees, allowances etc. 

i start work at 9am, i leave house only at 8.30am. shiok not!?!?!

and the job there quite simple and pay is reasonable. 

work pace there is super slow. even better i guess? not sooo stress??! 

 anywayyyy~~~~

 sooo to celebrate the start of our school holidays, together with my uni mates, we decided to hang out after exam for a dinner. went over to Bishan J8 for dinner.

 

had soup for dinner. which was rather good. 

we still managed to make it in time for the student promotion.

we couldnt decide where to hang out after dinner. 

we wanted to go over to timbre, but it was fully packed on a friday when i tried to make a last min reservation like an hour before? but of course, it was a failed attempt! :( 

we wanted to catch a movie, but just when we were discussing, procrastinating etc, the movie started, and we decided to give it a miss. 

 

we then decided to head over to a bar nearby, but we also couldnt decide on one. we train-ed down to clarke quay and decided to have some drink over the singapore river and chill. 

cheap and i simply love talks like these!! :) 

before we left, we took some pic at J8. wan qi couldnt join us and got to head off earlier. 

 

 

 

together with juan, who is currently enjoying her 'ang moh' life in Birmingham!! 

it was sort of a farewell outing for her before she left sg.

 

 

we decided to buy 3 to share among, since shirlyn dun drink. 

and i seriously think beers taste like chicken essence leh! i dun like the first 2! haha. 

decided to stick to the barcardi breeze.  

and i love it when we just had girls talk together under the stars! 

and not forgetting crazy photo-takings between juan's and jac's cameras.

i simply just love jac's cam more!!

 

  

 

it was a fun night. 

i was super tired that night. i think i had been a while since i coped myself home mugging for exams, after hours outside, i felt exhausted!!

Myrin 21st

Happy birthday myrin!!

rushed down after school that day after my video conference with Prof Rob.

ended slightly later than expected, and bel,myrin and liz were all waiting for me in Sakae Sushi.

we came empty-handed but we managed to surprise myrin with her bday gifts!! 

bel got the cupcakes and i got the present. 

everyone was famished, luckily when i arrived, they were still deciding what to have for dinner. they took nearly an hour to decide wad to eat can~!

was craving badly for bento. 

but i gave half the rice to myrin. hahah! 

bad hair day that day!! and even when i tried to remove the cap, my hair was flat!! 

 

as usual, we just talked randomly.

then i went out to get myrin a surprise, then bel came out with the cupcakes and we both tried to light up the candle outside the restaurant. but we FAILED badly. 

cause myrin could see from the reflection outside! :( 

she was smart enough to anticipate it already when she saw both of us leaving quite awhile. 

anyway we still managed to surprise her with her bday gift.

got myrin a simple yet beautiful guess bracelet. so glad that she loves it!

till now, she still dun bear to wear it.

CNY day 2 2011

 

its day 2. 

chose this red dress which i bought months ago before CNY. 

day 2 was usually spent at my grandma house. and traditionally, my grandparents and relatives love red. so i decided this dress would be allow me to receive compliments. 

and indeed i did. 

 

i simply love the design of this dress. cause its like a beach wear where i can tie a knot in front. not to formal, neither too casual.

 

anyway, this is my brother bday cake from the family. 

we ate this for breakfast for cny day 2. 

 

 

 

and as usual, we always take lots of family photos during cny and frame it up at home.

 

 

 

and off we set off to my grandma house in early noon.

a few of my relatives were there before us. usually we would spent hours at my grandparent's place during CNY day 2.

we played alot with our iphone's camera app. till my younger niece came to ask me 'why everyone got iphone, why i dun have'.

dinner was food catering. but i reserve lots of space for soulmate. 

this year cny day 2 was slightly different. 

in the past, i usually head back right after my grandparents' place, however this time, soulmate invited me and coli over to her place for dinner. 

she prepared dinner for us!! 

awhhhh!!

so i had to keep 70% of my stomach free to taste the dinner she specially made for us. 

and i drove down to soulmate house after that, and dad drove back the car since soulmate has a car. it had been awhile since i had been to her house!!

 

and i contribute alittle help for dinner alright!! 

we tried cooking chanwanmushi, which was rather successful i would say. haha! i remembered what my mum told me before and tried it out with soulmate.

 

the chef of the day!! super proud of this independent lady here!! 

and her dishes all super healthy ok!

 

just gotta compliment this herbal chicken soup. 

it tasted great and come on, how many 21 years old female can actually cook this well!?!!

we were rushing to woodlands for movie at around 9 plus.

but its still nice to spend time together.

goodbye CNY 2011!

CNY day 1 2011

 

greetings!! it was way long ago since CNY was over. 

but still, CNY is one of my favourite festival for the year. 

as usual, we woke up early in the morning to get ready for the visiting for day 1

day 1 is usually crazy. where we rushed from one place to another, and we gotta lots to cover. 

got up extra early, to prepare and take pictures.

 

 

 

 

yea, that's our favourite spot at home.

and then in the lift with my bro....

was surprised that dad let me took over the wheels that day, because till this day, he still dun trust my driving skills. hey! its not that my driving sux ok! but my dad just dun dare to leave me alone to drive till date. :( 

so since its CNY, i tht he would even play safe to drive himself, but he let me took the wheels instead. wahhaha!! lucky i was wearing boots that day, not that high, for second day, i wore the 5 inch blue heels out, and my driving was horrible that my mum knew it was the heels causing the problem.

anyway, first stop of the day was my grandparent's place.

after an hour, we went over to my auntie's place

 

she just moved over to a new house. 

i am glad i didnt lost my way there, i googled beforehand.

 

i love this new house.

its more spacious and brighter..

then to my 2nd auntie's place...

then the last stop was at my mum's side 

ta tah!!!

the 1st day of cny was also my bro's bday.

my aunt got my bro a bday cake!! 

and my bro had his 2nd cake for the day

random. 

it was a random topic and we decided to cab over to bishan to watch the green hornet.

my cousin is a huge fan of him now.

reason started? because they both share the same bday. 

anyway, i dun think its still showing, 

but unless u are a fan of jay then u go buy the dvd to catch it.

whatever he say, u might think he is cute, humorous or ..... 

i dunno.

but i had a hard time, my first movie having to read the subtitle. 

after the movie, we took the last train back home.
