kite flying @ Marina Barrage

 

u can call me a no-lifer, or whatever,

yes! it was my first time i went kite flying. 

now i know how to fly a kite. 

and its a tiring experience, with tangles here and there! 

well, went for kite flying with coli before my sch actually started.

i think that was the main reason how i got so tanned overnight, 

the sun was crazy that sat.

met coli around noon to head over to marina barrage for kite flying. 

coli brought the kite, and we had our mini picnic over there.

 

 

was super health-conscious that period of time, and i dunno how many bottles of vitamin waters i got myself to replenish my vitamin. 

dun ask me if it helped. 

 

after we settled down, we started our kite flying.

 

coli bought this bright kite that we could see from afar! 

she preparing the kite.

 

and we were all ready to set it off! 

 

ok my first kite experience. 

got some tangles with another kite, but the owner was super nice! :) 

of course we did take breaks in between and have our girls talk.

i was trying to shade myself from the blazing sun! 

  

we flew the kite till evening when there were officers stopping us from flying because of the national day preview. 

we didnt stay for the fireworks at night cause it was damn packed.

had a great experience flying a kite! 

i want to go again!! 

but not during such hot weather. 

i cant afford to get any darker now! :( 

boooo!! 

Yay! bel is back from HK!

 

finally the 4 of us met. 

was supposed to meet up with bel before she flew to HK, but she was super busy last min,

and we managed to meet up with her after she is back in sg. 

bel went HK for 6 weeks for sch!! 

lucky girl!! 

she was super sweet to get me my lao po bing and passed to me few days after she came back! :) 

anyway, as usual, met up with bel first after my class. 

sinful fruit paradise for lunch!  

 

 

eh... not as nice as i expected it to be leh! :( 

 

i chose something tiramisu. and it was not that fantastic. 

 

of course, i shared and updated the latest gossip with bel first.

liz came and joined us after that for some shopping. 

totally had no mood to shop that day. 

saving more money for my HK trip i guessed. 

i wasnt tempted at any thing. 

be proud of me pls! :) 

dinner was at shu teppan.

 

myrin came down to meet us after work. 

she just had her braces on, so soft food was chosen for dinner. 

we all had healthy shabu shabu chicken soup.

 

 

 we were seated in a L shaped position and its super hard to gossip and chat. 

we just filled our stomach and went to the basement to chat. 

hided at a corner and i started to rant about ppl... and our usual gossips

 

 

oh! and bel passed us the gift she bought for us!

and the bookmarks that i super love it! 

yay! :) 

 

happy with our small gifts :) 

 

of course it was a great catch up with bel. esp she was missing in our lifes for 6 weeks!

wen xin is back from US

  wen xin's back!! 

finally!! wen xin is back in sg! for a mth plus... 

it has been 9 mth since she went to further her studies in the states... 

envy much!!! 

and the wildcats booked a date with her after she was back!! 

headed over to timbre at substation because Dale love substation so much! 

and i remembered i dislike substation timbre! 

but anyway, this time was much better, we didnt sit near the mosquitoes area. 

but but within half an hour, we grumbled about the mosquitoes bites we had on our body.

booooo

 

so as usual, we had the duck pizza and buffalo wings. 

i didnt touch the food at timbre. i was super sick of the food there already. 

just drinks for me! :) 

 

 

it's us again!! 

hahah

 

 

and we started to play cluedo! 

all Dale's idea!!!

had fun with the wildcats once again. 

it was always fun to hang out with them!! :)
