a nice place for a date!

Domani is a nice chill out place for a dinner or a date with your boyfriend. 

i would not say its a super high class restaurant to go to. 

its cheap and affordable, with nice ambience. 

its located at taka!! 

bf brought me to have dinner one day after work for celebration. 

he went there before, and introduced me this resturant.

yes! and i love it!! 

the food there is nice! and its not towards the extremely expensive side. 

  

bf ordered mushroom soup for me! 

he knew i love mushroom soup! 

and i used to say ashton's mushroom soup is good. 

i think this is even better!!! 

the soup is rich with creamy starch! and generous portion of mushroom! 

loving it!! 

the thoughts of it make me hungry! 

a glass of white wine to celebrate! :) 

 

bf also ordered side dish of fried calmari. 

a simple fish and chip for me! 

and the serving is big! 

4 fishes for me! 

and i couldnt finish my dinner!! 

bf's seafood pasta. 

realised, i seldom ordered pasta outside. 

cause i felt that the most tastiest pasta i had was either my mum who cooks it or my brother who always come out with innovative ingredients to cook his pasta. 

i love mum's cooking on a random note.

esp when u work, and everyday u gotta eat packed rice or whatever. 

and i miss my mum's dinner!! 

anyway caught toy story 3. 

its my anitcipated movie for the month!! 

wanna caught it specially because of barbie and ken special appearance in the show. 

and watching the movie make me happy! 

vivid colours in the movie, bring me joy.

i am like a little girl watching the movie and laughing my heart out. 

was glad i was able to get a good seat on a saturday night on the first week of its opening. 

many parents brought their kids to catch the movie. 

overall, i love the movie. 

the colour, the plot. 

its just remind me childhood memories i had. 

anyway..... 

my stomach is still feeling bad still! :( 

didnt eat well for the past few days. 

gonna rest. 

gotta catch the world cup fever later.

gathering with aunties~

went out for gathering with my aunties last friday.

aunties and nieces/nephew tend to gather together once every few months to catch up with each other, esp so when my grandmother passed away few years back. 

i was kinda late for the gathering. was doing OT till 7pm then rush down to Millieum walk at city hall. 

aunties were all there already. 

i did some research of the place we were going to eat before going over. 

and i heard that their pork chop was good. 

i was determined to order that when i reached there.

went to SABOTEN for dinner.

as stated earlier, i ordered the pork chop. 

the pork is nice indeed as written in the review. 

very cripsy!!

however its quite hard to chew at times 

dun belittle this plate of cabbage!

its super crunchy! and its very refreshing to eat them. 

its cold and there is a special sauce to dip the vege together to eat them

sesame bean is served for us to crunch them into smaller paste and make into our own dip sauce for our main dish

 my aunt and cousin ordered the fried food platter for 2. 

consisting of the pork, prawn and potatoes.

the combo set of pork and prawn set that mum ordered. 

miso soup was served free flow too! 

 

dessert of the day was the green tea ice cream. 

even the bowl was freezed to give maximum satisfaction of coldness. 

it was fully packed at around 8pm. 

queues started forming at 8pm.

we decided to find another place to chat and chill out

and headed over to a quieter place like coffee club

each of us ordered something to drink and a chocolate mudpie to share

while my aunts started to chat about their live.... 

my cousin is going to jay chou concert... 

at around 1030 we left for home. 

everyone was kinda tired after work. though its friday night. 

thinking back, i think its good to cultivate a culture for families to gather together once in awhile so that the bond will still be there. 

back to work tmwr.

every monday is just the start of the week. 

and i sure have monday blues.... 

gosh! and i have aerobics tmwr!! 

going alone myself! :( soulmate has a dinner appt.

Tajong Pagar railway station

last sun went out with family as usual.

my sundays are often dedicated to family. 

and dad suggested going to Tajong Pagar railway station which will be close soon. 

everyday on the way to work, i will see the sign of the tajong pagar railway station in the train station and was curious to find out where it was. 

i found out that it look like the st james power station from the view of my office.

dad drove to the railway station.

 

 

i was kinda impressed with the structure of the railway station.

it is a old building.

but u can see the structure of the buildings are good and steady. 

no sign of cracks or leaks. 

 

  

inside the railway station,

its a little old school, where people still take TRAIN to malaysia. 

i had never get the chance to go to Malaysia by train

 

the ticket counter to buy ticket. 

the price and the places and the departure time are all on the board. 

not much of technological advancement.

 

the chairs for the passengers to wait for their trains.

 

according to my dad, the building was owned 60% to malaysia.

which also explained the signed malaysia above.

the workers there are mostly malaysians, 

and the way how the things move and work, are exactly like you are in malaysia 

 

 

the railway track. 

didnt manage to take a snap of the train. 

 

 

 

feels like we had just gone to malaysia!

it was a nice experience to go before it officially close down. 

where mum shared her stories that my grandpa used to work there. 

i believe the place will bring back memories especially to our parents. 

after that, went to my grandparents' house which was rather nearby. 

and then we went to raffles city because i need my skin care product!  

and mum was just in luck that day.

mum went to join the lucky draw. 

 

and lucky her, she won the grand price of 700 bucks worth of  SK necklace!!

today is only tues!! 

i am feeling blues every weekday!

i just get PMS when i am at work.

feeling irritated when i hear her speaking on the phone. 

i started letting out a deep sign each time i feel irritated. 

ok.

i think its just my problem

well, i am extending my contract with SBF. most prob another month. 

and sch... so far its good. 

worried for few weeks. and i called up and got an answer! :)

will be joining wanqi in class soon!!! back to our year ones days!

so its like so chiong my life. 

no life i would put it.

work since 10 march, like didnt really rest much after exams, went to work in sbf.

then chiong work till next mth july 9th. 

and starting sch on 12th july.

i think i need proper break! 

thursday will be my off day! 

well.. situation like this, i dunno how to spend this precious day to me!

step and zhe han's departing SBF

Goodbye to stephanie and zhe Han. 

it was a short 2 months that i know them.

on my first day of work, they were already there. 

and though we were of the different dept, different age to be exact, we got to know each other because we are of the nearest age group!! 

they had been extending their stay in SBF for zillion times. 

and each time they extend, i would be glad because we girls will spend more time together again! 

and now, the person sitting opposite me is someone so LOUD. 

i miss steph! 

i miss her doing calling! 

now i get irritated with other loud noises! 

 

steph is one who is super smart!! 

getting scholarship here and there. kinda envy her smartness.

maybe her smartness came from the fish porridge that she ate for lunch without failed. 

and she kept saying whatever i said was funny. 

and it was not meant to be a joke.

zhe han on the other hand, like blur blur de..

but she very sweet looking girl.. 

these 2 girls left us in SBF!! 

missed their laughters and their complaints!!

i wonder when will be the next time we will meet, 

when all of us part our ways, 

and esp so when we know each other for a few months. 

the bond might not be tat close, 

but at work, their presences are truly missed.
