Zoo outing on the 17th march 2008



Say us kiddy, but seriously, for me, it had been quite some time since i had been to the zoo. maybe around 10 years?! yea.. 10 years... what had i been doing?! apparently, i remembered nothing much since my last visit to the zoo except that there are lions, tigers, zebra and not forgetting AH MENG!

Probably its because of the 'early' timing that we reached the zoo, most of the animals were not in their 'home' where were they?! oh and i guessed, the most 'hardworking' animals in the zoo were probably the monkeys! why?! because early in the morning, from 11am to around 12++, we seen many monkeys! i think we cleared the whole of the 'monkey empire' in the zoo. and we were soooo sick of it.



we took many pics.. i think nearly 400+, resulting having a bad pissed-off mood to collage and compressing the pics together.it took nearly 4 last night just by doing this 2 simple task. and my camera's battery for the first time died on me yesterday halfway in the zoo. luckily amelia brought hers along.

had lunch at KFC. me and amelia, or maybe AMELIA only went to play with the playground with the kids... imagine this scene!

pls.. i brought a 1 litre bottle of water and they said i was exaggerating when i was trying to prevent dehydration. and there i was trying to be like kindergarten's teacher just like this scene!

me: hey kids... time to drink water to prevent dehydration. GUAI!
3 of them: teacher, mdm...lau shi...
me: shhh.. put ur finger on your lips! hold hand with your friend. walk 2 by 2!

anyway, it seemed like a joke, but after hours around the zoo, we realised that we had not seen the MAIN animals like Lion, tiger, giraffe or zebra! and we had a hard time searching for these animals.

oh the scaly encounter is a walk that we had given up halfway. cause the 'mild' animals are in the wild... and no noise can be made...we were like whispering when jean realised that normal voice were still acceptable. the funniest part is, halfway through the walk, amelia's hp suddenly ring! and i was like shit! and the things happened just soo fast that the next moment i realised we were screaming and running out of the place...

and we went to 'pay respect' to ah meng.

in case you are wondering.. the red spot that i had highlighted was the place where ah meng was buried..

and the yellow part was a 'casual talk' that we said that mas selamat might be hiding there.. cause its near Mandai!

alright. there were supposed to be many pics for me to highlight,cause the pics that we took with most of the animals were rather small.. maybe highlighting the area would help a little in emphasizing the animals . hopes it helps though not much...

i know amelia now hate sealions. because we went to catch Live splash where the sea lion was doing its trick. and at the end of the show, there was a picture taking with the sealion for the first 20. and we rushed for it and we were the first. we didnt know that the sea lion would kiss us while taking the pics. and poor amelia, who was the nearest to the sealion, was kissed by it many times cause we kept 'siam'

we were tooo exhausted after long long walk around the zoo.. and we even fed the mosquitoes....
shit... getting back results in a few hours time... just blessed me with satisfaction results pls! sentosa tmwr?!
