2nd stop- Singapore Art Musuem

 

Hello! 

and our next stop of our musuem visit is to.....

 

Singapore Art Museum

its my favourite musuem of all! 

cause it's the most colourful musuem inside. haha! 

 

super bright colours to play around. 

 

there were even toys that brought us back to our young days... 

 

we spent rather long in this musuem before moving on....

cause everything looked so pretty to take a pic with! :) 

I love Musuem part 1: National Museum of Singapore

 

finally we went to visit musuems! 

during the month of Aug, most of the museum are FOC. 

making use of this opportunity, the 3 of us decided to meet to visit some of them. 

the last time we visited a museum was during our primary sch days. 

that was years back! 

 

and so, our first check in was the National Museum of Singapore. 

 

got 3 tickets for us! :) 

it was kinda crowded, prob due to Free admission for the month. 

 

 

this museum is kinda big, with lots of galleries to explore..

 

this was our sec sch motto. 

 

 

 

 

 

2 of them were so interested in the oldies

 

we spent nearly 2 hours there before we moved on to another museum.

kite flying @ Marina Barrage

 

u can call me a no-lifer, or whatever,

yes! it was my first time i went kite flying. 

now i know how to fly a kite. 

and its a tiring experience, with tangles here and there! 

well, went for kite flying with coli before my sch actually started.

i think that was the main reason how i got so tanned overnight, 

the sun was crazy that sat.

met coli around noon to head over to marina barrage for kite flying. 

coli brought the kite, and we had our mini picnic over there.

 

 

was super health-conscious that period of time, and i dunno how many bottles of vitamin waters i got myself to replenish my vitamin. 

dun ask me if it helped. 

 

after we settled down, we started our kite flying.

 

coli bought this bright kite that we could see from afar! 

she preparing the kite.

 

and we were all ready to set it off! 

 

ok my first kite experience. 

got some tangles with another kite, but the owner was super nice! :) 

of course we did take breaks in between and have our girls talk.

i was trying to shade myself from the blazing sun! 

  

we flew the kite till evening when there were officers stopping us from flying because of the national day preview. 

we didnt stay for the fireworks at night cause it was damn packed.

had a great experience flying a kite! 

i want to go again!! 

but not during such hot weather. 

i cant afford to get any darker now! :( 

boooo!! 

I left my footprints there.

 

finally, we stepped into the KTM Railway. 

it was our first and the last time. 

now it was officially closed. 

i didnt know its so near my sch. 

anyway, dad was nice enough to drive me and soulmate over to the railway station at tajong pagar. we thought of starting our journey from there. little did we know that section of the track were not opened to public. 

no choice, we decided to walk to the famous Bak ku teh nearby for lunch.

 

after that, we decided to take a cab down to the bukit timah railway station. 

didnt know it was just a few km away from sch. 

 

it was the second last day open to public before it was officially closed, therefore it was quite packed.

the weather was crazily hot, making me even darker! 

 

nothing big woo-ha to wow about. 

just tracks and stones, and those small old buildings. 

 

 

then we walked over to king albert park to meet coli!! 

rest at the macdonald before continue our journey!

 

as it was approaching the evening time, it started to get crowded. 

saw some taking wedding pics, some grad pics, 

omg. how can they stand the heat?!

around 6plus, coli had to leave for a bday party. 

me and soulmate decided to take a bus back to town for dinner. 

was craving for ramen. 

and we settled at Tampopo at taka for dinner. 

but the ramen was ..... 

i didnt satisfy my craving! :( 

 

we took the rocks back as souvenirs.  

soulmate was still shopping after dinner. 

i was mad exhausted, and didnt have the mood to shop! :( 

booooo~~~

 

had a great time with the girls as usual! :) 

 

at least i laid my footprints on the track before.
