we are NYP PALs!

today went back to school for NYP Pal in the morning... and went back with cor. reached there, got our nyp pal shirt. after a few, we saw our da lau da! omg..so coincidence.. she came for the cca with her friend too...

anyway today there is this guy, wu Jia Hui having his concert in NYP. he is the one who sang 'yi ren yi ban' from the theme song 881 movie.. yea.. and in the cca we were supposed to help out.. yea we did.. apparently they told us to promote or give out tickets to people who wants to come for his concert... and we target people to ask.. ask those innocents de. they sure cant bear to reject you!!
and my soulmate was sooo sweet and nice to accept like 8 tickets from me?! haha! thanks..
and also to raymond.. omg, i just knows him like days ago, and he managed to recongise me and we chatted abit. again, he was nice to help me with some tickets.

say me power, i managed to clear the tickets within half an hour, all thanks to kind souls. oh and wan qi keep saying i am bad because there were 2 'china' girls i think who were lost, and i went up and passed by them and said ' are u guys lost...' and then wq's helped them. alright i am bad... fine..^^ anyway we helped them, then i replied them saying ' alright since we helped u, pls take 2 tickets.' haha...alright... bad comments all over me rite... fine...:(

alright it was nice helping out... actually as an NYP PAL, any artiste coming to nyp, u seriously get the chance to take close up and individual pics with them.. but i missed this chance today. but not too sad.. cause he is wu jia hui. haha.. but we did manage to get a few grp pic with him.

pardon for the poor quality of the pic. because they are taken by cam ph. i missed my cam!! argh... i cant live without it now!

yesterday went to the choir orientation halfway through we left, cause we thought we are able to leave. thinking back, i think i enjoyed this choir orientation more than any other orientations. i just dunno why. maybe i love the seniors. they are like so great and fun. :):)

tmwr going back to help out in this NYP PAL concert thingy. Wu Jia Hui is coming to NYP and i am going to help out in his 'mini' concert.. too bad.. he is not the artiste i like..if not i sure cant sleep tonight for sure... but the in-charge hadn exactly give us the details yet. i am still waiting.

anyway less than a week before school's starting.. well... i guess i am ready for the long terrible lectures and boring tutorials...

was looking through my drawers and those sweet old memories just keep flowing back...
letters... handwritten letters...

i know it seemed alittle out-of-date to receive or write a letter these days.. but looking at the past, how me and my friends and esp with my cousin,JJ, we used to write letters, maybe once a week. and now with the improved technology, we constantly need to upgrade ourselves. these handwritten letters were no longer a common thing. But no matter emails, or even text messaging or msn nowadays, the feelings werent the same as those written on the letter. reading those words on the letters just brought me flashbacks into my childhood. how innocents we were... i really appreciate every single letters. now, who still write letters these days to ask their friends how they are doing, i think the percentage is very low, or even none.. who has pen-pal these days.. i think very few.. technology just pull back the 'closeness' we have for each other...

oh and i am also finally done with my notice board my soul mate.. yea... lotas and lotas of pics... adding more on it soon... i still have some pictures still left undeveloped yet. notice board seems empty, because there isnt much events happening yet.. i still on my holiday... No tests, workshops, make-up lectures or tutorials yet.. . just a pathetic timetable that is serious on my board.. oops... ^^

yesterday went back to school for Club crawl. and i had decided to join back my pri. school cca, choir and also another slack cca,Nypal! went back with cordelia and she cut her fringe short. everyone seem to cutting their fringe short when i am deciding to keep mine long.. oh and i saw iszak. he asked me to join back band, which was a BIG NO-NO!!!
the thoughts of my 4 years in my sec sch band just freaked me out immediately.


anyway after that, went to meet soulmate and coli. it has been quite some time since the 3 of us met together. i remembered the last time was the sentosa outing, yea...


met up to have sakae buffet at sunplaza. yea i admit, the thoughts that Irene was working there, put me off at times. losing my appetite? er.. i dun think that serious yet. before entering, i wore my specs, to prevent irene from recognising me, while i guessed it only lasted a few seconds. the irene that served us yesterday wasnt exactly the one that used to be my manager. maybe now i was no longer her service crew but her customers. she talked to us alittle yesterday, and was kinda of nice to us... where is the irene that i used to know?!

of course the Kani chanwanmushi was mine.. i ate 2 of it..and wanted the third one when the other 2 said i was totally crazy

apparently, maybe there are some 'salts' hidden inside the food or something? i just suddenly got high, and not just me... even sifan and coli... probably was because of the recollection of what happened in cchy. gosh.. someone had brainwashed sifan's brain i guessed. i dun think she remembered much in her sec life... i was trying to tell her who was sitting around me and who was 'eat bun/ eat full' actually much sec school life experiences still stay vividly on my mind... they have became part of my memories.




back to the older days....

went out with lizzie bout a week ago.. i am so sorry, i tend to delay the blog entry post whenever the outing consist of the liz,bel or myrin... paiseh ar....

anyway met up with liz on fri. bel got sch and myrin was still working that time. left me and lizzie all alone. hahaha... but i truely enjoyed the company with her... without bel, we were sooo much normal, right liz?! ^^



anyway we also tried the 'walking marathon' we started our journey at esplanade. and then walked down to Merlion Park.

slowly we tried to find our way to Chinatown. and we managed to make it there... by walking! walking can be such a good advantage when you are able to see the hidden corners of spore and the sights and sounds of it. :)

Chinatown... god knows how long ago i had not been there.. i dun think i even passed by there before..oops... Chinatown was crowded though it wasnt the chinese festive season..

then HUNGRY! went to have Dim Sum Buffet at Yam Cha Restaurant. haha..sound so tai-tai

apparently, me and liz were kinda hopeless and HELPLESS over there.. we might be chinese, but we seriously had a hard time to know what were the food. the waiters are mostly from China, speak fluent chinese or even canto. and yea... everyone knows my chinese standard...

some gave up on us... they just placed the food on the table without much asking whether do we want them.. how pathetic....

oh... and we realised that most food there have prawns.. not that we were allergy with prawns. but we were tooo sick and scared of prawns le... having to eat soo many prawns in a meal... yUCKS!

i think they were kinda famous in their 'xiao long bao'

mango pudding for dessert. and once liz told me its fattening because of the milk, i immediately stopped eating...

oh and i was soo in love with this soup... it was refreshing and i drank nearly 2 bowls.. wanted another bowl but tooo bloated..

anyway the dim sum was not too bad.. next time i must bring my mama along...



after that too full.. decided to walk around, wanted to just walked back to clarky quey mrt station, however, unknowingly, we walked all the way back to Raffles Place.


still too full to go home, went to boat quey and chatted awhile... bel and myrin hmm.. i think u missed some... but no repeating.. haha!

salt and bitter... wahaha..we are normal. :)
