its the begining of MAY!

went out with soulmate on the beginning of MAY!

started a good month with soulmate!

and it was a crazy sales weekend. 

we went to body shop sales first to get some sales items.

according to Faith, there were sooo many things to buy. 

anyway, in the end i spent nearly 50 bucks over there, with a 10 bucks rebate voucher to be used in a week. 

got a bronzer, matte finishing, body soap... 

and i used the 10 bucks voucher to get the retractable brush! 

i finally got it!!

Istana was  opened during the public holiday,

but sadly, soulmate and i had too many things to shop and we were all tired after that to climb up the slope in.

lunch was at our used-to-be working place, Sakae sushi!

i miss eating jap food.

i had a terriyaki chicken ramen

super big bowl that i couldnt finish it

and i remember we walked all over town, shopping!! 

got a few stuffs here and there. 

  

my bag was full of stuffs! 

got lots of make ups and brushes!!! 

declared broke! :(

and after shopping, went back to PS to watch IRON MAN 2.

i love the movie. 

i just love the male actor. 

so charming at his age!! 

if iron man can save the world, dun let it vanish!

happy mother's day

Happy's mother day!!

its mum special day!!

no housework for her. no cooking.

just a sit back relax day for her!

for the past few days, had been rushing her present!! 

its was a scrapbook with the pictures we took ever since i got a cam ph till now. 

all those pictures that worth the memories, that see through this family grows.

rushed the decoration, pictures out after work for nearly a week. 

of course together with my brother who shared the heartwarming present. 

at the same time. i got mum a STAGE lipstick together with the book just yesterday.

sneaked in the room in the middle of the night to surprise mum, putting the book inside her cupboard so that she can see it first thing in the morning. 

when my mum saw it today, 

she was touched that she teared. 

that was the moment when i felt a sense of satisfaction for all i had been doing for the past few nights.

around noon, the whole family drove down to plaza sing to have high tea!

a dim sum/chinese high tea for lao beijing. 

it started at 3pm and we were hungry, so i grabbed at bite at chirpy! 

and i think their beer battered fish was great. 

serving was huge. 

i was kinda full eating 4 pieces of fish inside. 

i wan to try it again.

this time not a snack, but more on a proper meal. 

its filling enough! 

after that queue at lao beijing before more crowds came in.

it was full house today. 

maybe they served a reasonable price for chinese high tea on mother's day

but dun expect too much. 

i dun think it was that great for me to patronise it again

braised shark fin soup. full of starch. 

dim sum was blar.......

i love siew mai! but not here! it 

according to my parents, the roast pork buns were good. 

but too bad i dun like eating roast pork

hot and spicy soup/ suan la tang. 

but its not spicy at all!!

which again disappoint me. 

the pork inside was just normal minced meat pork.

this is the popiah ingredient where u get to make your own popiah!

and i love this alot!! 

its like the best!! its mochi! fried mochi to be exact.

the paste inside was sesame.

love it!

braised pork! fattening!

and lastly the desserts.

 

this fruit cocktail was not too bad

but this sesame paste was rather watery.

 

and requested for a family picture to be taken.

a simple mother's day celebration. 

though the food was not fantastic, but its the family together-ness that counts. 

a treat for family

been working for awhile.

and it was time to treat my whole family for a dinner. it was kind of first time treating dad dinner. cause he always foot the bill in the end. 

this time, i insisted on footing the bill.

ate at soup restaurant.

cause my dad esp love white chicken, and they served nice chicken over there. 

brought mum there once before. 

on sunday, after my grandma house, my family went to town.

and on a random note, i got my ettusisa 2 way cake foundation. :) 

happY!! i like got a full make up set now!!!

but i am super broke sia! 

i need to replenish back my cash! 

spending 500 bucks in a month was crazy!

i have to control!

anyway, back to the dinner, we had our soup restaurant at the Paragon. 

half eaten chicken! it was nice that i forgotten to take a pic of it

i love the ginger with chicken!! 

and i know my dad loved it!! cause he didnt grumble.

he is usually very fussy for chicken.

it tasted sweet and spicy. 

i love this dish too.

wanted to try the fan shu leaves, but its sold out!! :(

it might be a simple bowl of rice.

but i really love the rice they served. 

every grain of rice is served in its full shape. 

  

dinner was great. with family. 

how i wished i have the money to treat them occasionally. 

its nice to see them being happy. 

work is so far normal!! 

another 4 weeks!! 

i wan my last mth pay!! 

super broke now!

no more impulsive shopping and spending 

next day with soulmate again!

went out with soulmate the very very next day after our sat shopping trip!

and we went to marina square first, wanted to get my sweet floral pair of flats. but my size were sold out. 

walked to bao jing tian to have a drink there.

not going back there anymore even though we ordered just 2 glasses of drink!

after that we decided to head back to town. 

where we feel more 'sense of belonging' there. 

oh. soulmate got bday present for her fren from SK jewelery at a good price 

and i got my moisturiser. :) from ettusisa. 

and i am finally their member too!:) 

** not to mention, i just bought my 2 way cake foundation from them today!! **
