Mummy's bday

nearly 2 month back, it was mummy's bday. 

couldnt decide whether to go to our usual dining celebration at a hotel for a dinner or keep it simple this year. well... mum decided to just keep it simple. 

 

chose the ship restuarant. heard the positive reviews from frens and boy and decided to bring the family over to try.

well.... i thought it was pretty much like jack's place kind of style.

and this was my main dish which tasted disappointing especially their pasta. 

probably because i expected more after i heard those positive reviews.

  

though it was a simple dinner celebration, i am glad mum and dad love the place. it kinda reminded them those days when they were dating... 

those old days~~~ 

 

before we headed home, went to buy a cake for mummy.

  

who dun loves their mummy... even though me and mum always have disagreement over stuffs, i am glad she is still my mummy....

last month was crazy GSS! 

as usual, mum and i will normally head shopping during this time of the year to get some good buys. 

my bro tagged along this time too! 

i remembered i bought a crazy amount of stuffs during this year's GSS. 

i think a total of 20 tops and few skirts plus few shorts? 

i swear i am just going to control my spending before i go broke even before entering HK.

went down to Raffles Places to find dad for lunch and ran errands to the banks. 

and when we were done, treated mum and bro to Frolick at bugis.

 

tried the milk tea favour. and i think my fav will still be the frozen yogurt.

after frolick we headed down to town for more shopping. 

dinner was at TCC where they were still having there GSS 1 for 1 main course and pasta

i wasnt that hungry, therefore i shared a plate with mummy.

was so exhausted after dinner, and no more spending for me!

so we all headed home early to rest.

daddy's birthday and father's day

 

every year, as usual, my dad's birthday will fall closely to father's day.

this year is no exception. 

father's day is one day before my dad's birthday. 

went to google some hotel buffet to have my dad's birthday dinner and finally settled on mandarin orchard's aquamarine.

it served seafood and asian buffet. and since my family wanted to try seafood buffet, decided to treat them to Aquamarine's.

didnt go to popo's house on that sunday. 

stayed home and prepared for the dinner later.

 

dad drove to the hotel rather early. 

took pics around the hotel, machiam like tourist!

finally the buffet started and we got a rather good seats. 

the service was good too!!

seriously my family sucks totally having seafood buffet.

we see people taking rounds after rounds of seafoods, but we all stopped after one plate. 

i just took one of each kind to try.

fresh oysters were served but i dun like them. 

 

 

was sooo full after 2 plates!! 

 

after awhile, the waiter served a slice of cake for my dad. 

my dad was kinda surprise by this gesture! :)

had a complimentary bottle of white wine to end the dinner. 

dinner was good. 

though my dad nagged it was expensive, i know he is happy and enjoyed the dinner!

Sunday at MBS.

on a random sunday, drove family down to MBS after weekly visit to grandma's house.

i just think grandma's place is so conveniently located in the central, to town, CBD areas and sentosa are just within 15 mins of drive.

I googled before a open area car park near MBS which has cheaper parking fee, and luckily, we managed to find the car park easily. it was just near MBS.

it has been like half a year since i entered MBS. Previously, it wasnt that fully established. now, i am glad it's so much better.

 

shopped around MBS. and my dad got so interested in the epi centre there.

he was hooked onto the IPAD 2 and stayed in the store, looking at people playing it.

i wish dad was impulsive enough to say ' lets get one!' but no he didnt unfortunately.

 

we stayed outdoor for quite some time, enjoying the scenery which we previously missed it.

gotta say mbs is still so quiet!!
