xmas day 2011

 

it was xmas day. and i spent the day with family. 

as usual, we had reserved a table at holiday inn hotel for our hotel lunch buffet.

my dad just never get sick with the buffet the hotel served. 

dad drove us down to the hotel and we arrived earlier than expected.

 

and i took a pic with xmas tree! :) 

and there were wide variety of dessert! 

me like! 

i just sucks at eating desserts esp cakes. 

how can i miss a turkey and ham for xmas!!!

after lunch, popped by to town to get some stuffs... 

new haircut with soulmate

 

hello all!! 

as u all know, or had seen, i had trimmed my hair.. 

notice the fringe this time round? i cut around 2 inch of my fringe off. 

wasnt quite used to it initially, because i felt one side of my hair was heavier due to the parting. 

immediately wad apps boy to show him my new hair. 

haha!! 

mum asked me where was the difference! :(

went for the haircut with soulmate, and coli came find us... 

decided to head home to bathe first before heading out with the girls, 

the girls came over my place to chat with my mum and watch tv while i was getting ready

i totally love the freshness she had with this short hair on her. 

i got used to it almost immediately.

after i was done, we headed down to town to watch alvin and the chipmunks..

super not-my-age show anymore. cause i thought it was lame eh! 

 

well, initally thought of shopping, but me and soulmate decided to do our nails first...

 

painted blue nails to fit the dec festive season. :)  

after that, was dinner at sakura.

happy 21st Juan!

 

It was juan's 21st. 

the last girl in my uni clique to be 21! 

we were all invited to go over to her bday party at aranda country club. 

which was freaking far for me!! more than an hour journey!! :( 

but for the sake of the bday girl, hahha.. i complained to her once and thats it.  

bf came along with me. 

so i waited for him to end work before we rushed down to the bday party. 

we were the latest ;x 

went to meet up with my uni girls, and bf was engrossed in watching his fav tv programme 'the noose'

 

i like the balloons decorated around 

and what i love the most is the 'photo booth' station, the props used were soooo fun to play with. 

 

 

and i was wearing the geek spec.

xmas and new year eve

Xmas eve and new year eve is spent with bf.

we countdown to the day.

it was a simple dinner and outing together.

especially bf dislike human crowd....

well.. i managed to drag him out with me guiltily i must said....

 

wore my new black toga dress for xmas eve. 

whole black attire.

 

got bf a wallet, a pic of us and a letter :) 

Bf booked us a good movie, the shelock homes. 

dinner was at the hard rock cafe. :) 

 

took several poloraids, and the funny thing is this, no one dares to take polaroids for us. 

cause bf is rather demanding to get a good pic instead of wasting the films. 

eventually, we ended up using 3 films too. 

bf and i were thinking of getting professional DSLR, with those lens that i have totally no knowledge and interest on. Gotta start saving with him to share to get one together. 

currently, i know he is loving my Polaroid... esp when he requests to let him bring back when he go back to his home country next year, along with my mac book pro. 

tell me about it, 

he is thinking of giving me a new mac air in exchange of my current mac book pro that i am using. 

yay or nah?

new year eve, was an international celebration. 

i dragged bf out of house though he was super exhausted from the party he had the night before. 

initially, we planned to go SG flyer, but bf was sooo tired. 

we headed out for dinner. 

treated this new year eve dinner this time at outback.

the steaks were good.

beside the steaks, we ordered a bottle of red wine to go with them. 

at around 10pm, we decided to walk over to marina bay sands to catch the firework. 

it was packed like mad!!

the funniest quotes that i heard for not allowing one to enter the helix bridge to enjoy the firework is ' the bridge cannot take it already.'

bf questioned back ' so u asked the bridge? how you know it cant take it' 

it was first time we count down together. 

and i promised bf not to go to such crowded place to countdown next time. 

the human traffic was horrible!! :( 

well.... its a new year..

Happy 2012! 

dun think back the past.

look forward to the new year. 

bring on the challenges ahead, 

face it. 

i will be looking forward the happiness, joy and the sweat in 2012!

Hippo tour boat ride

 

was being a tourist for the night. 

though a pure singaporean, it was my first time sitting on the hippo tour boat ride. 

 

bf and i decided to board the boat at clarke quay, thinking the end station will be at esplanade, but we were wrong. it was a round. and we ended back in clarke quay station after the 30 min ride.

 

bf loved the short boat ride, it brought him to see another side of singapore that he did not explore. 

was famished after the boat ride. and bf was craving for seafood esp chilli crab. 

he didnt try that before. 

actually i didnt try chilli crab before too eh, its always the black pepper crab that i ordered. 

so we randomly picked a seafood restaurant along boat quay

 

ordered salted fish fried rice. 

our favourite, but not the best we had. 

kang kong, which was tasteless.

bf loves this so much!!! he wants to have this again soon!!
