High tea buffet at York hotel

Last last sun ... My family decided to go to york hotel for a high tea buffet after my grandma house. It was sort of a last min planning to go.. Called several hotel buffets but most were full.

We decided to settle with York hotel since it's near town and my grandparent house.



Near the lobby... It's quite dark.. It was pouring if I didn't forget.




And when it struck 3pm. We went in to have our first/2nd meal of the day






There are a wide variety of food as shown.. ESP for a high tea buffet.

And they served the best prawn noodle!!







And I have my chocolate fondue:)



And some pastries.



Love their red bean in the chendol!! It's hard!!! Chewy!!

It's been nearly 2 week since I started work.. Work is getting more tight.. Schedulling time and learning in the process.. Plus silly mistake I made...



Look at the pile of work to be done!!



I pin up quite a bit of stuffs on the board. But I love this most. My colleague Esmond did it.. With his super nice handwriting...

I have damn lots of things to blog.. Botanic garden,genting,soulmate prom night shopping! I am just too lazy!!!

SOULMATE ! we are 20!

Happy bday soulmate!!

 we are 20! :)

finally i fufill one of her wish huh!

it was to go to ding tai fung for her xiao long bao.

dunno since when she start bugging me with her xiao long bao.

and i promise her to give her her xiao long bao on her bday.

i almost wanted to order 20 xiao long bao for her

lucky i didnt .

cause we couldnt really finish wad i ordered. 

 

instead we ordered 10 xiao long bao

me with a pathetic xiao long bao!

 their highly recommended pork chop

hot and spicy soup

 

shrimp and egg fried rice.

 

and guess wad... 

before i made her, i went to doby guat and did something nice for her.

  

nice?

hahah its a brownie.

got soulmate a 'brownie cake' 

 

she got the word happy!

hope soulmate is always happy!:) 

guess what word i got...

hahhaha

cause i love my soulmate ttm!

hope we stay soulmate forever! :)

after dinner, went to continue to get soulmate's prom night stuffs. 

shall continue another day!

2nd day at work.

it was not too bad.

first day of work

i started work!!!

officiall today!

i am working at Singapore Business Federation.

sounds like a big company huh?

haha. its near raffles place. 

located at the central,

at tajong pagar. 

and i told u all, i love high level.

and i am located at level 22 with a beautiful sea view!

i like!

and i was super early today!

i reached the office half hour earlier and no one was inside.

i could only sit at the bus stop near by and wait for the time to pass. 

i woke up at 6am in the morning to get ready. 

the mrt is packed with OL and OM. 

but i prepared quite fast. 

with 10 mins of make up and 15 min of strengtening of my hair. 

fast la huh!

myrin also started working today! 

and we both mass text each other. :)

and as i was deciding what to wear for tmwr....

i think i need more dresses!!!

help! 

i wan go mass shopping!

 

been spending time with my lovely soulmate.

and monday was her 20th bday!!

glad to acc her to shop for her prom night and spending her bday tgt!

CNY day 2

i know cny had long ago past. 

but i gonna mass put up the pics i have for cny..

cny day 2 visiting is normally just at my popo house. 

just one location, where all the relatives gather together at my popo house for dinner.

we are not the earliest this time round. 

but we still reached around 2 plus.

like frens huh,

some might mistaken him as my bf! HA!

 

and out we go to pai nian

outside my house.

was bored in the car and took some pic

and finally reached my popo house.

and my cousin came! 

of course cam-whore!

 

we are like the closest cousins. 

the rest are either much older and have their own family or either that we are not that close to them

outside my popo house going home le.

cny just ended so fast

TGIF with the girls!

on the last day of sch, after sch, went to meet the gossip girls!

freaking happy that everyone of us can make it!!

bel was supposed to meet me earlier to shop! end up her project ended late. 

and liz came earliest though she claimed she will be late. 

myrin was all along busy with her projects

but the girls managed to meet just before CNY for dinner. 

( yeah a super long-ago entry!but i had the time now only to blog about! )

 

it was really a friday went we went there.

we had an early dinner to avoid the friday dinner crowd. 

 

everything on the menu seem fasinating. 

we decided to order 3 main courses and shared. 

 

the fish and chip

which tasted pretty normal..

 

the chicken breast meat course.

dun underestimate the mash potato.

it really NICE!!!

the sauce to dip into is so addictive.

each of us ordered a drink.

and i had a mocktail mix.

the service there is good. 

with the friendly waiter helping us to take a pic, joked with us. 

 i believed the girls enjoyed the meal there.

well. i do.

and i want to go back there again.

 

i am going to meet Myrin tmwr for Kbox! wooo!!!
