Bday dinner with family

 

bday dinner with family this year was different. 

this year bro went to army, and we could only celebrate our bday during the weekend.

therefore, we gathered for a dinner at Tung Lok @ orchard central.

 

me and bro's bday are close. 

we are only few days apart. 

and every year, our bday are near the CNY. 

so this year, our bday dinner menu includes CNY dishes.

  

the view was good.

it was such a huge portion

the waitress was helping us with those chinese well-sayings.

 

and we lao yu sheng!! :)

 

 

next up was some braised 'shark fin' soup

 

i love their prawns! 

super fresh and delicious!!!

was sooo full.. after probably the 3rd dish?

 

i didnt even touch the fried rice and dessert. 

gave it to dad instead

bought a simple cake the day he booked out for his bday

 

well for me, i had a early celebration with family on the 8th. 

with bro around before he booked in.

oh dear.. i am 22! now i really wish the number can stop! 

i got the aging symptom!! 

backaches at times, tired shopping in town the whole day, extremely sian to go out consecutive few days. 

oh no... i am becoming no life!! :( 

Feb Babies

 

i am so glad that the 4 of us met up together again!! 

it was early feb, and it was nearing my and myrin's bday. 

so together we met up to have a bday celebration/dinner at town. 

decided to have it at Marche this time!

cause it had been such a long time since the 4 of us met. 

and we just chat anything under the sun.

dinner for me was baked rice.

which tasted pretty normal!! 

i think i sucks at ordering food at marche without bf.

liz should be in korea now! :( 

 

and we were trying so hard to do the 'mustache'  facial expression.

 

but me and myrin couldnt make it. 

tried so hard eh!

i am so glad that our friendship stay even we go our ways after our secondary school days.

and we always have the topic to bitch about.

Little Part 1 cafee

Little part 1 cafe is located at the little corner in upper thomson. 

met soulmate on a friday just for a catch-up.

bf tagged along because it had been some time since the 3 of us hang out together.

was super bored at home and decided to pop down to soulmate's place first before going for dinner together. went t pick up bf after he ended his work. and off, we headed down to the little part 1 cafe.

 

a very cosy place to chill after dinner.

but not a really nice place for dinner. the food served was just average.

and i ordered smoked salmon salad.

 i am starting to like smoked salmon surprisingly. 

;)

 

the ambience was nice for chit chat and drink. 

wanted to have beancurd! i was craving for it. but no one actually have the craving for it after the meal :(
