Dinner at Orchard Hotel

Saturdays at times are spent with family. 

especially recently, when we head to town very often during saturdays. 

it was supposed to be mother-daughter shopping spree, but dad insisted to tag along. 

well.. ok, since he dun mind helping the females to carry those shopping loots and drive us around. 

on one of the saturdays, we headed to town as usual. and it was packed as usual. 

me and mummy went to town earlier to shop around first before dad and bro came over to meet us. 

females shopping are often better without the guys. 

and of course we got some shopping loots. 

that day, dad randomly suggested dinner at orchard hotel. he knew i had my meals there before and asked me if it was good. 

however orchard cafe was fully booked that day. we were suggested by the manager to have porridge buffet at the second level instead. 

dad was tempted with this suggestion. He sorted of eat healthily these days. 

porridge dinner buffet only started at 7pm. so we were rather early and sat at the lobby while waiting. 

 

it was a random dinner at orchard hotel that i didnt bring my camera. 

and worst i was dressed super casual that day. 

these days when i head out, i am usually in my shorts. dresses and heels are what i usually wear for work and i didnt wan my weekend to be just like any other day. 

at least something i am comfy with!

 

 

headed up when it was 7pm. 

the porridge buffet spread was good. 

there were lots of dishes that my parents enjoyed. but not all that me and bro appreciated! 

 

a huge spread of simple fare. 

desserts are red bean soup, ice jelly and some mini cakes. 

 

it's good to have such simple fare once in a while, giving u a homely feeling. :)
