Sarang with Bham girls

it was just someone's random craving,

all because one of us caught the korean drama, and got tempted with the korean food that they are serving on the show.

therefore, we googled on the place for korean food in town and ended up in Sarang at orchard central.

none of the girls had tried it before, so it was all our virgin experience in Sarang.

the girls met after work. and seriously woodlands is seriously pissing me off. i took an hour to reach town.

so long can.

 

i wont say its those authentic korean cuisine, just that there is a huge screen playing those KPOP songs. 

i bet my bro will love this place. he has been pestering me to bring him there one day! 

 

i decided to order 'under the sea' spicy seafood soup. 

 

their metal utensils are real heavy.

i looked super dark again!! 

boo!! i am thinking of ways to get fairer!!! :(

 

i read recommendation on the MUST-have dishes in Sarang. 

and this noodle is one of them. 

but this pathetic small portion cost 8 bucks already!?!? 

 

after dinner, none of us were full. 

the food were just normal. 

we decided to pop to somerset 313 to have some HK dessert, recommended by mei qi

 

ok i ordered this mango sago.

pictures not tat appealing but its not too bad ok!! 

 

and we chatted about how crappy our working life now. 

and me and eileen seriously like no life. 

we dun catch up with any dramas, and we made sure we sleep early that kind. 

headed home after dessert. 

dessert made us fuller of course. 

and they were so much more worth then that korean cuisine we had earlier! 

our next meet up will be when meiqi is back from states!!!

Ramen craving with jac and shirlyn

i feel i am old!!
i feel super tired to head out after work usually!
super no-life.
but seriously, u can tell from our face.
TIRED!

anyway, met up with the uni girls, jac and shirlyn. jas couldnt make it last min.

i was craving for ramen at that time, and i found one good ramen place at the central.

so off we met at clarke quay, as usual.
we seemed to hang out there quite often with the same girls.

i was the last to reach...
i think its super crazy! from woodlands to clarke quay!! omg! long train ride!!

decided to order this ramen set with rice.

the super cool thing is u are supposed to dip the rice with the soup.

the soup base is good i must say!!

thumbs up!

we ordered this as appetisier.

but not that fantastic though!!

we chatted and caught up with each other life!

and we were also planning for our grad trip!

hopefully all plans will go smoothly!

i wan shopping and eating!

cant wait.

think about it, i am graduating like next year..

like soooo fast....

then we decided to go over to the singapore river and continue our chit chat session!

and of course pics! : )

i am glad we still got lots of things to talk about!! :)

was super tired that day.

went home just KO on my bed

my body ache the very next day that i couldnt really wake up for work! :(

Changi Airport with family on Sunday

Sunday is always a visit to my grandma house. 

family day i would say. 

when i am older, i tend to understand the importance of sundays.

 to spend time with family i think its one good way to communicate and bond. 

weekdays, we work and study, we were all too tired to head out after that. 

but sunday, its the time where we spent time together all day. 

this time, dad and mum suggested to head over to changi airport after grandma house. 

all prepared with my fully charged camera, i tugged over my new cardi and vintage bag that i bought and headed out.

drove family to changi airport.  

was surprised with the reasonable parking rate that changi airport charged. 

we went to visit terminal 2 and 3. 

 

terminal 3 is rather quiet!! 

dad wanted to see the viewing gallary, but was blocked by the panel outside. he was grumbling how disappointed with the new structure. 

i remembered when young, i used to come over to the changi airport with relatives. it was one of the hang out place that we usually went. 

and family also used to bring us over to the airport to look at the planes taking off. or apparently, my dad enjoyed watching that. 

there is the largest indoor slide located at terminal 3.

 

 

was quite amazed how they used natural lights for the brightness in terminal 3.

 

and u know when u go to the airport, u just gotta take such picture like this.

 

departure hall is where the emotions became overwhelming, i saw a family actually seperated, with a kid leaving with his father and another kid with her mother. u can see the tears forming in their eyes that they dont bear to leave each other. 

i dun usually notice such stuffs. but that day when i saw such heart-warming scene, it just reminded me how blessed i am to have my loved ones around me. 

  

and after moving around terminal 3, we took the sky train to terminal 2.

 i love the floras that changi airport has placed around. they are sooo bright and colourful. totally leave the impression of the green city to tourist. 

 

and when i am at changi airport, Mcdonald is the place that i have to visit. 

cause it totally brings back the old memories. 

i remembered having my meals with my late grandma and my aunties at Mac during our visit. 

the place that i never forget. 

this Ronald had been there for more than 10 years i am sure!!!

we had some finger foods at mac before heading back for our dinner. 

drove family to old airport road food market for dinner. 

ordered a few dishes to share. 

like pork ribs and intestine noodles.

i know old airport road food market has really famous wanton mee. but i dun fancy wanton mee, and i decided to give it a miss. 

 

ordered this egg beancurd. 

i tht it was something unusual!

short updates

 

hello!!!

i think everyone is still continuing the election's result discussion. 

well... i am soo glad govt had given the growth and share amount to us! 

this means more money to spend!! 

had been spending lots of clothes these days. 

i still have tons of dresses not wore yet!! 

anyway. work is good so far, with a new colleague Joyce came along to join the dept. 

at least finally i found someone of my age to click with!! 

and she influenced me on some good lobangs online!! yay!!! 

am glad with the few  days work week due to public holiday! 

shiok!! 

and come to think of it, next month, i will end my contact already. 

so i look for another 1 mth part time job and earn some allowances for shopping or should i rest at home before school officially start!  

shall do some consideration.

anyway, i am currently listening to this song! love it!! 

i know its a few months old song. 

but i just put in on repeat mode on my ipod!! 

love such rap-genre songs recently.
