mr cool guy?

was having fever for the past few days. since the weekends. 

its like the worst shot of sick i had. 

imagine it being attacked since sat evening. and till now, i am still trying very hard to recover from it. 

went down to see a doc and was given 3 days of mc. generous doctor.

but i proved him wrong! i was back to school today. though not fully recover, but at least standing up without feeling much giddiness. he bet that i could not even leave the bed today! 

anyway. i had miss 2 lectures on managerial finance. 

hard to catch up! and i am still stuck doing my er report!! wanted to complete it by the weekend!!

anyway, timbre @ arts house with bel way back early this mth! 

and myrin didnt join us. 

so we 2 just headed over after school

 

bel wore her new dress out! super overdressed for school for both of us actually!

 

this time we reached timbre rather early! because we want to avoid being the ones looking at people enjoying their drinks. yup! so we were the first few customers for the day. 

both of us were hungry and thirsty! 

seriously this was the first time we ate and spent so much in timbre! 

like a freaking 90 bucks for both of us. 

the previous time we went with 4 of us didnt even hit 80 bucks! 

we were just plain hungry and thirsty i must said

we wanted to try a drink that the service crew served on the other table. 

and the first try we got was WRONG

ended up it was this. and the worst is, can u see it flowing? 

we just have to drink it constantly to prevent it from melting and overflowing. 

i think we glupped that drink in 10 mins? 

 

ordered a seafood pizza. 

plain. nothing special. 

prefer the first pizza we used to order

 after pizza, which we also took less than half an hour to gobble it up, we decided to order something more. 

bel ordered a non-alcoholic drink

which she faced the same problem of overflowing

and i ordered fuzzy nuzzel, which taste like oranger juice, =.=

 

and we changed our normal chicken wing order to baffalo wings. 

finally we felt full! 

 

 

talked about usual stuffs. 

bel didnt notice her mr cool guy was missing that night!

awhhh...

and we still do have our weekly meeting! ;) 

loves...

think i end here. gotta take my medicine and drink more barley!!

dinner date at Ma Maison

 

just came home from dinner with bf.

headed over to Bugis for dinner. he had been wanting to bring me to Ma Maison for a dinner since weeks ago. 

i didnt really notice this restaurant, properbly because its located at the corner. 

its a jap american restuarant. 

however this restuarant ought not to be missed!!! 

the food is really good!

the layout of the restuarant is super homely. 

very country style. 

 

and we ordered 1 appeitiser.

 

which is baked escoggot with cheese and white wine. 

can u see the fire under the plate. 

i dun really know what is escoggot. 

and it was my first time trying it. 

and i think it tasted good. something like clam. 

but please dun tell me they are snails!!!

just love how the whole restaurant works. 

and not forgetting the crews are very friendly.

by the time i posted this entry, wen xin is probably trying to adapt her new life in the states.

LUCKY GIRL!! 

how i wish i can study overseas, and in state moreover!!! 

 

super bubbly her, wonder will she experience cultural shock over in the states?

she once tht the emrs room was non-camera room, and changed over there. 

she loves the green sweet which she goes gaga over it each time, but all of us were scared of it. 

nevertheless, that is wen xin! 

 

on a sat morning, we wanted to have dim sum buffet in the morning. 

but decided to change it over to holiday inn for the one for one promotion. 

we cab down to holiday inn and were rather early. 

with dale, wen xin, wan qi and i met first.

after wen jie biked down, we went to Melting pot and have our lunch, at the same time waiting for the busy bienna to rush down from work. 

sat lunch was rather disappointing. 

they served HARD satay( though i dun really fancy satay) 

no chicken rice! ( their chicken rice is really not bad!! ) 

pig trotter was horrible. (prefer my mum's ! ) 

luckily its one for one. 

 

morning appetite wasnt that good first. 

more vege! 

 

and dale got stuffs for wenxin! 

and super hilarious, he gave latern because he was afraid wen xin cant celebrate mooncake festival over there, and gave a 'i love sg' shirt to remind her of us and sg. not forgetting our pics! :) 

 

 

and bienna came! 

 

and the wildcats girls! 

we were deciding where to go after that and wenxin had to rush off to partyworld to meet her fren.

we decided to tag along wenxin and went to partyworld with her fren. 

 

dun really like partyworld atmosphere as usual. 

like ktv. 

 

 

it will only be 2 years later when wenxin will be back. 

and we will miss her crazy presence around. 

New Haircut

say hello to my new hair! 

though its nothing very much difference, 

but its much shorter, with blunts ends. 

and my fringe is long!! swept one side..

 

hopefully i dun look too mature.

but anyway my split ends worries are gone! :) 

 

before, my hair was like bushy!! thick and out of shape!

 

look at the untidy tickness!

 

its time to chop off the ends!!! 

i got 50% discount on the haircut at essensual at orchard central. 

and i got this wonderful stylist Eugenia to recommend me on some do and don'ts for my hair. 

actually wanted to cut bangs, but she adviced me not to due to my short forehead! 

boo hoo! :(

decided to change my parting to the side instead of the centre parting.

my hair length was chopped off nearly 3 inches. 

i wanted shorter. maybe next time!! 

right after my hair cut. 

feel not used to it with my hair all towards my right. 

anyway, met bro and mum at town after that to have sushi buffet.

i feel kind of uncomfortable with the long fringe! 

think of cutting shorter the next time. 

i tend to tuck it behind my ears each time i lost my patience on it. 

and this new hair is very hard to maintain! :( 

no wax or wad, my hair will be in werid looking manner. 

like a mane. 

today i try to put some wax and it looks better.

next month i will be going to do treatment at essensual too! 

hope my hair will be softer then. 

maybe considering another haircut!
