have all of u went to the IT fair?
is singapore having recession, one will suggest when they see the crowd.
IT fair is one major event of the year in suntec, and as usual it always draw crowd.
this year, i rather enjoy going to it fair, beside getting the things that i wanted, i found that the things there are dirty cheap. so cheap that makes me almost want to grab everything to buy. yeah, impulsiveness...
but luckily bf was beside me stopping me from grabbing those unnecessarily stuffs...
well, its always good to go with a guy to IT show, cause apparently, guys know better bout IT stuffs, this bf of mine was just giving me neutral comments though..or rather, i never listen to him on the hard disk advice thingy. cause the moment i set my eyes upon the pretty hard disk, no other portable hard disk attracts me.
well... me and bf met after my lesson, and due to the fact that my lecturer actually released my class earlier, i was one of the many who were outside the hall waiting for the door to open.
dun misunderstand!!! i am not those kiasu singaporean, but i didnt know that the IT fair only open at 12pm. i was already there at 11.35am? and the fact that i saw the crowd made me feel like the event had been going on for a few hours.
well, i walked around at just 1 hall, and i got hungry, i dragged bf out of the hall to grab something to eat. well, he didnt want to leave is not because of his interest in IT but because he did not wan to enter again... well well, he had to pity my poor stomach then.
we went out and decided to have porridge buffet...
this porridge buffet should be the most popular one. everyone should think of this when porridge buffet is mentioned.
a table full of dishes..
however some i think my mum's cook better. the chicken and the duck or pork wasnt as nice as i expected it to be. however it was the simple fare that makes the porridge delicious. like the steamed eggs, salted vege, tofu etc. there were a few kinds of porridge served, like the one above was hainan porridge, sweet potato porridge and plain porridge.
and it cause just 9.80$ netts. oops.. stop saying i cheapo.. but come to think of it, do u think tofu, egg, porridge etc is worth the 9.80$?
well, at least its something home-fare food, simple and yet not so oily. good to eat once awhile. keep aside the western food or jap food etc.
after that we went back to the IT fair, it was freaking packed. so much crowded. i was grumbling how come i didnt get the hard disk or mouse earlier before lunch... and now i had to squeeze through the crowd.

anyway i went back and bought a pretty pretty portable hard disk! :) and a mouse...
oh and i went to check out burberry sales which is like up to 80% discount, but well, this kind of sales and discount its well expected it to be old season and not suitable for us to purchase though they are at a very good buy..
sat went to eat liang tofu, the one that i frequently patronise was sold out... and i tried the stall beside it near upper thomson road.
