cny 2012

Hello!!!

i am back from crazy exams!!!

and i am officially done with school. jus that i still have my dissertation to complete voer the next 2 weeks, and i am just gonna wait to graduate.

wow!
i gotta say time flies during my uni-life
and now i am just waiting to say hello to the corporate world soon!!

 

and this will be the very very back dated CNY post. 

cny was kinda cramped this year, with lots of last min or even undone shoppings for the cny goodies. 

bf and i went to chinatown during the last weekend before cny began.

he got lots of cny goodies for my family.. and i was surprised he enjoyed some of the cny goodies...

oh and he went with me for a last min cny shopping. 

both of us bought a pair of levis jeans. and i remembered i did nt have a top to match my jeans. romped around town to get a top for cny day 2

after xmas then countdown and then cny. 

such a packed festive season i must say.

day 1, decided to dress a simple brown dress..

 

of course, as usual, we took some family pics around at home.

 

 

a pic before heading out for our yearly visiting. 

i was so brown that day.

went over to my grandma's place in the morning. 

 

after that popped over to some aunties' place and the last stop to my mum's elder sis side for a dinner.

a simple yet yearly affair home cooked dishes.

 

 

with my aunt:) many relatives said i looked like her eh!!

was almost tempted to watch the jay chou with nicholas tse movie. cause my cousin was a huge fan of jay chou. 

last year i remembered we caught the green hornet. 

but this year, that jay chou show didnt really tempt me to watch..

day 2, was a simple day. 

i decided to just pair a top with my jeans

 

simple, yet bright! 

my top really stood out from my pics. 

so kiddy my mum laughed!

and then its just one visiting on the 2nd day.

which was to my grandma's place. 

and we stayed there for hours.... 

having our tea time/early dinner over there. 

 

was carrying some cny goodies to pass to bf later.

at grandma's place, it was always fun to have jj around.

cause we really gossip lots of stuffs. 

 

and we were playing with our iphone photo apps.

 

and she just came back from her grad trip around the states, and she got me this :) 

love it!! :))

now.. cny was over.. 

i m an unofficial graduate

 

it was our last day of sch.

unofficially i would say. 

had our entre presentation on that very day, so all of us dressed up formally. 

ppl thought i was having advanced cny visiting, dressing up in bright colours.

presentation was not too bad. 

and our last module, all girls in the class were going gaga over this prof. 

me and wanqi didnt. hahha

 

he was real tall. and his hands are huge!! 

real huge! 

like the biggest fingers i had seen in my 21years of my life.

 

and this is my entre grp mates! :) 

who we all stayed back in sch till late together just for this presentation! 

 

was glad to work along with meiqi and eileen in another project! :) 

 

 

not forgetting we had chiong the strategic mgmt together!

its like the 2 years of my uni life just flew past. 

mugging and holiday then graduated. 

i enjoyed my uni life alot more. 

with good gfs i had made!!! 

its really a pleasure to study with them.

well, i am left with less than a mth of mugging, and submission for my dissertation during march. 

unofficial graduate... 

and off i am going to face the working world.

Jas turns 22!

 

after juan's bday, it's another cycle. 

this time is Jaslyn's 22nd bday! 

juan drove that day, and all 6 of us squeezed into the car after sch to head down to shaw tower for early dinner. 

discussed quite abit in sch to decide what to have for dinner. 

ended up, we decided on ah loy thai! 

it was my first time trying and i heard good responses from the girls :) 

 

so while waiting for the food, we took pic! :) 

i need light!! look how dark i am! 

i always complaint!! 

 

 

and with the bday girl!

ordered quite a number of dishes to share.

after dinner, me and jac went over to find cupcakes for jas!

everyone was so full to have dessert, only me and jac were so into the ice cream over at tom platte

 

salted ftw!

ordered salted egg and salted caramel cheesecake! 

yum yum! :P

 

after that, some of the girls left, while jac, jas and i continued to shop around bugis. 

i remembered each of us got our shopping loots. 

went over to bencoolen to acc jas to get her korean kimchi dumpling before heading back!

2 day 1 night

was supposed to try 2D1N with my uni girls one time, but i missed that gathering. 

i am so glad i managed to try it this time round with the girls 

met up with liz earlier, bel had her dental and myrin had lesson that day. 

so i ended up shopping with liz earlier in bugis.  

was warned that the queue for 2d1n is crazy, therefore me and liz decided to head down earlier to queue. ended up, we need at least 3 person to arrive in order to get a seat for 4. 

:( 

no choice, we left outside waiting for bel and myrin. 

 

and we waited nearly 1 hour eh! :( 

finally when we got our seats, the 2 girls arrived.

 

it was a korean bbq. 

or i would say it was a meaty bbq! 

cause apparently, it was all meat!!! 

it was funny to see how bel cook, cause she was so afraid that the meat will scald her hands. 

no doubt that the meats were fresh and well marinated, but i wonder how much one can eat for meats. i got sick easily for the meaty taste.

 

after the meaty bbq, we walked over to maxwell food centre.

liz was craving for dessert, usually it was either bel or me who will crave for dessert, but this time, we both were too bloated to stuff dessert.

wanted to try lao ban beancurd. 

i had not try any yet eh!! 

but it was sold out upon our arrival! damn sad can. just few minutes late! :( 

liz did not give up with beancurd craving, and got her beancurd from another stall.

well. it was nice to hang out with the 4 of us.

happy lunar new year. 

i believe everyone has been gambling quite a bit. 

so did u guys make some earnings?

i finally found a top last min on sat to match my outfit for day 2!! 

it was mad rush as the past weeks were rushing out the entre project. 

but i am glad the presentation went well. its report to chiong after cny!! 

and a note to myself, gotta rush the dissertation report after cny day 2. 

shall play like crazy till tmwr before chionging my dissertation which i have to submit this sun! :( 

cant wait to hear stories from cousin jj later at popo house.

anyway.. its cny.
