aunt Jess in town again

 

after 2 years, aunt jess came down to Singapore again. 

time flies. the last time she came was actually 2 years back. 

she came for a week, but i only managed to meet up with her last sat before she flew on tues! :( 

Aunt jess came over to my house for some catch up first before heading out for dinner with my relatives

then around evening, dad drove us to Intercontinental hotel for our dinner buffet at Olive tree. 

it was the first time we tried our buffet there. 

 

was early, and took some pic around..

just like a grp of tourist!!

dinner time!! was hungry!! 

but as usual, i stopped after 2 rounds. 

 

i think i have phobia seeing too much food on the table.

 

the food there was pretty normal. 

not my favourite dinner buffet though.

  

but the desserts there were good!!! :)

i think my stomach was filled with dessert instead.

 

brought my Polaroid and was put to good use:)

last but not least, 

ended the day with a group photo :)

running errands around town.

after sch one day, met up with myrin to catch the movie one day.. was recommended by many friends that the movie was good. but ended up, both of us didnt really catch the plot of the movie. 

felt so bad that day because i kept myrin waiting for me for like 2 hours. 

omg. i still feel guilty much! ;x 

 

after that, went over to lucky plaza to collect my vouchers then to far east to do my nails!!

the girls were complaining my nails were sooo red...

BRIGHT RED to be exact, that even my mum said i was too attention seeking!!!

after i am done with my nails, we went over to meet bel for IPL.

seem like i got lots of errands to run that day. 

IPL at only aesthetic @ holland village. 

was surprised it was painless and fast procedure... 

cant wait for the next few treatment to be hairless... i noticed results already!:)

dinner was ramen. 

 

good ramen served here!!

 

and we took Polaroid..

after dinner, we went to coffee bean nearby to chill. 

just for chit chat session. 

we ordered a drink to share.

when i was a kid, i cant remember much... 

my childhood was just simple i think. 

i remembered mum sending me to those abacus classes on sat, ballet after that ( yes i learned ballet before), speech and drama classes in town etc... 

i am glad to have lots of chances to learn new things when i was young. 

thankful to my parents for that. and i am so going to do the same for my kids too in future. 

aunt posted some old photos that she managed to dig out on fb.

this reminded me how time flies. 

look, i am already 21! 

showed bf my childhood pic and his first comment was ' eh so fat eh!' :( 

sobs!! 

yea. i was a fat kid,

mum always complaint to me that dad was crazy that time to feed me a BIG BREAKFAST every weekend. and me, at the age of 4 years old, i can finish it by myself!!!

 

when i was young, i HATE taking photos. 

thats explain my grumpy face!!!

and my brother is the cheeky one as usual!!

its good to be a kid, you just live carefree, without having to worry. 

what do kids have to worry anyway? whether u have enough toys anot?

met up with the girls some time back.. 

i think its quite awhile back. very back dated post yet again.. 

met up with anabel and myrin after my hk trip to pass them the small gifts i got for them! 

i remembered meeting bel earlier for some shopping. but it was a failed shopping attempt for me yet again because of the crazy amount of money i had spent in hk. broke! 

dinner was at soup spoon! 

healthy eh? 

ordered clam chowder. my favourite these days  

and we spent hours chatting in the place till it was closed for business.... 

we always have too much to talk about, too much to question each other, too much to crap and gossip

 

 

but of course, its fun! 

these girls are the ones who know most of my inner stuffs which we shared openly!! 

we are listening ears to one another.

Persian food at shringz

It was finally after exams... And boy promised to bring me out to celebrate right after my exams!!

We went to Clarke quay for dinner. It was my first time trying on persian food that he recommended. And it was good I have to say!!! 

It was more of a fine dining kind. An we had a glass of red wine each to go along with the food.

We ordered the platter for 2 to share

And dessert was something boy loves back home...

It was a good experience dining at the Persian restaurant!:)

Mummy's bday

nearly 2 month back, it was mummy's bday. 

couldnt decide whether to go to our usual dining celebration at a hotel for a dinner or keep it simple this year. well... mum decided to just keep it simple. 

 

chose the ship restuarant. heard the positive reviews from frens and boy and decided to bring the family over to try.

well.... i thought it was pretty much like jack's place kind of style.

and this was my main dish which tasted disappointing especially their pasta. 

probably because i expected more after i heard those positive reviews.

  

though it was a simple dinner celebration, i am glad mum and dad love the place. it kinda reminded them those days when they were dating... 

those old days~~~ 

 

before we headed home, went to buy a cake for mummy.

  

who dun loves their mummy... even though me and mum always have disagreement over stuffs, i am glad she is still my mummy....
