Jac 21st!

 

its finally Jac's 21st!! :) 

the bham girls met up together to attend her bday party at the crazy world cafe.

it was located at chinatown and we had to ask for direction to get there. 

and the auntie was like asking 'why so many ppl ask me how to go there' haha!

 

so, here we were. 

finally reaching the entrance of crazy world cafe unknowingly.

i called Jac to ask for direction when i was actually in front of the cafe. 

 

it was a private event. 

 

lots of nice food. esp this bailey oreo cheesecake. 

i think i ate like 4 cups?! 

 

the theme for the party was traffic light. 

and the colour of the top represent your status. 

 

so u know how hard it was to find a green top

everyone was having a rather small appetite that day. 

lets talk bout being glamourous. haha

 

 it was a great time to actually catch up with the girls and also planned for our next korean meal outing!!

we wanted to head for supper and dessert after the party, but it was too late. 

after we left most stalls were closed! :(

i think i got to know u better ever since we were in the same uni clique even though we were in the same class since year 1. 

i am glad i got the chance to know u better! :)

Bday lunch surprise for soulmate

i planned another surprise for soulmate. 

 happy birthday girl! 

hope u get surprise that time too!

this time along with coli and jie en since alex couldnt join us!! 

it was a small surprise, but i think it just caught her off guard too.

was supposed to go over to soulmate's house before driving over to tampanies since soulmate got bday party later at changi. plan changed and she drove over to my house to pick me up.

and off we go to tampanies. 

we decided to have lunch at sushi tei. soulmate is the main lead and she decided on that. 

so sushi tei was it.

and then i texted coli the latest plan and she came along. she and jie en caught me offguard too, cause they just entered the restuarant without knowing where we were sitting. then POP, we saw a small yellow balloon popping out. thats when soulmate and i were wondering ' who carry yellow balloon' 

and OOPs its coli!!

of course i dun eat raw sushi. neither do coli.

this was shared between soulmate and jie en

together we had a meal together at sushi tei. 

it was a long long meal, we spent nearly 3 hours there with lots of catching up and giving advices to coli.

luckily jie en was there to represent the Man!

after that, we parted ways, soulmate went for her fren's bday party. 

me and coli wandered around abit before decided to head over to town. 

poor jie en had to tag along with us before meeting his friend for dinner. 

coli randomly wanted to have her ear pierce.

seeing her getting her ear pierced kept me wonder how did i got the courage to even have it pierce in the first place. 

after that it was yogurt time!! haha.. i seem to have yogurt each time i am in town. 

FROLICK this time! :) 

i swear by their original frozen yogurt!! 

and we did some shopping after that. coli seem to venting her exam preparation stress on shopping!! she bought like more than me? 

yay!! shopping with her again soon! :) cant wait!! 

Holland Village

I am like in office now, trying to past time by schedulling up this blog post.

there is nothing for me to do now! :(

i dun understand why my colleagues left at 5.30pm and here i am still stuck in office slacking, just waiting for the clock to strike 6pm. :( booooo!!!

anyway, i finally tried Holland village xiao long bao! am going to find a day to treat my family for this. cause i think its really good.

i met up with myrin earlier first since busy bel had to do her project before meeting us.

me and myrin went to vivo to catch a movie, no string attached! i am super slow for this movie.

i wanted to watch it like when it's first released? but i was stuck home for my exams. and after my exams when i had the time to catch it, everyone around me had caught it! :(

but all thanks to myrin, she was willing to watch it again with me.

after the movie we were both hungry, but we decided to keep it all for the steamboat later.

took a bus to holland village and bel and her bf joined us.

i managed to book only the 5pm slot so it was early dinner for us.

and i love the matou over there. i only managed to have 1 piece. after that it was sold out. HOT SELLER ok!!

the soup base were good.

we had sweet corn pig bone soup and spicy soup.

lots of mushroom for bel, vege for me, mryin clear leftover, hy for the meats!

and of course not forgetting the main dish, xiao long bao. 

i think we had 5 'longs'

myrin had to leave earlier to meet her frens to get someone's bday present. and the rest of us decided to head for some simple window shopping.wanted to catch a movie, but when we reached town, no mood. so walked abit and then we decided to have yogurt. 

its sally yogurt once again!!! i can seriously never get sick of this!!

Picnic at Botanic garden with Uni girls!

i am sooo glad we had this outing. 

it was like our first group outing! 

and we were all equally excited for this simple and cheap outing at Botanic garden. 

lucky we were not those who were super afraid of sun.

while waiting for Eileen, we just got ready with our stuffs. 

pot lucks for us. 

i or maybe my mum helped me prepared with a box of fried noodles. :) 

 

 

we decided to picnic under a shelter in case of bad weather and prevent heat stroke!

 

 

and after half an hour, Eileen finally arrived with her fishballs!

after lots and lots of picture takings, we were famished and tired and dig in on our pot lucks.

i brought the utensils- all left over from my bday party. ha!

we played monopoly deal while eating. 

it was my first time playing that game. i finally know how to play it!!

just before we moved on to another spot, we decided to take more pics with the greenary

 

and we decided to freshen up at the toilet nearby. 

 

and we went to the tree trunk/log which was rather popular pic taking for visitors.

and how could we miss it too!

 

and we moved on to a big field where we had our picnic again,

this time trying to clear away the left over food.

 

  

at around 5pm, we decided to head back to town

we were all stinky!! :( 

i went to forever 21 and got my dress.

after that mei qi left for home and me, jac and jas continued to make our way to bugis for shopping! :)

it was till 9pm that we couldnt take it and headed home.

i remembered the 2 of them got some loots for themselves too! 

i am so glad that we were in the same group for our project that makes us closer.

i enjoyed my day with them. 

Korean meal soon, we promised!
