22nd for Shu Xin

celebrated shu xin's 22nd at Nex during a mth back.

me and wan qi were having lesson till 1130am that day. imagine we had to wait for the rest of the ladies till 7pm. that is like plain torture. especially when we had nothing on our shopping list. 

still, me and wan qi still carry on to town, juan joined us for a few hours before meeting her friends. 

apparently we shopped the whole orchard till we were sooo tired. there was the cny fare at taka at that time, me and wan qi tried almost everything. by the time we were full for dinner. 

the next torturing part was after hours and hours of roaming around in town, you just gotta pull yourself to Nex for the birthday dinner.

and we met the ladies at Lenas at Nex.

YUP, me and wan qi have lots of common frens. especially during my bday party, she was like my second host. haha! she is in my poly clique, my choir mates, my Uni clique! look!! we are just SO SICK of each other! hahah!

Back after exams & JJ 21st

Hello! 

i am finally back to my normal life. 

life has been crazy, ever since my bday party, the whole feb was robbed away by CNY and EXAMS!! 

and finally Exams are over! 

and i have my 4 months breaks starting today!!!

i going to slack and slack abit before getting a job i guess!! 

my first official holiday ever since i entered UoB. 

this is madness! 

i wanted to rest soo badly now, but i guess i shld blog one entry first before neglecting it way too long. 

post exam activities are packed so far. will be heading out continuous few days to enjoy! 

skin has been BAD!! 

this sux! with pimple popping out!! 

argh!!

 

JJ's 21st was celebrated like early Jan. and i only had the time to blog it like now which is like end Feb!  damn! 

anyway my this cousin of mine, is a month older than me! and i decided to date her out for some shopping and treated her a bday dinner. 

we met early noon, and as usual she was earlier than me, no matter how early i left house. 

anyway  we shopped around town and i remembered i bought quite a number of stuffs. 

our parents are always soo drama-mama. 

each time we go out, they will call each other to gossip abit about us. then they will remind their daughters to treat each other meals etc. so funny especially when both sides do the same thing! so imagine 2 daughters expecting the same reactions. CANDID! 

i was craving for yogurt, and decided to get frolick and shared with my cousin! 

she did the ordering! 

our strawberry frozen yogurt! its nice!! i wanna have it NOW!!!

 we managed to finish the medium cup like in 15 mins? 

but it was soo nice!! 

dinner was at Aoba Hokkaido Ramen at Ion. 

we were super hungry after shopping. 

we decided to settle somewhere nearby to grab our dinner.

i was having some seafood ramen.

 

it was my second time having this seafood ramen. i think the seafood served was fresh! but i dun really fancy the ramen though i know they are popular with it.

it was fun to have some catchup. of course lots of internal family gossips that we usually share.

Dim Sum after school

one day during lesson, i finally brought Juan's belated birthday presents. 

i just gotta praise my wrapping skills, improving each time. 

anyway, passed her the present, which was a big mug with a sweet night gown.

hope she likes it!  

after school, i had to rushed down to Vivo to meet my aunt and mum and bro for lunch. 

was super late. 

and we decided to have dim sum buffet. 

price was reasonably cheap, but be careful of food wastage, they DO charge. 

here i am at Ban Heng Pavilion chinese resturarant. 

it was located near the car park. sooo ULU!

there are quite a variety of dim sum for some buffet enjoyment. 

 

but sadly, there was no xiao long bao!! 

but the tofu was good!! lots of prawns inside most of their dishes.

i love prawns! but after that lunch, i was scared of prawn for a period of time. 

 

before the food came, had a bowl of porridge. which was surprisingly tasty. 

simple fare yet enjoyable. 

 

ordered a table full of dim sum. 

towards the end, we had no choice but stuff the food into the stomach. 

p/s we dun wan to pay for the food wastage. 

i think the adults will enjoy the dim sum.

and it was in fact quite cheap, compared to the ones in chinatown.

of course, the service here was horrible!!

got 2 tank tops for super cheap price at Espirt.

Sophia's 21st

it was 2nd Jan, and it was my first 21st birthday party that i attended of the year. 

 

and i was invited along with Anabel to attend Sophia's 21st birthday.

too bad liz last min couldnt make it. 

it was a rather grand affair i must say. 

like a wedding!

the theme was masquerade, and we had to prepare a mask for the party. 

got it cheap from diaso.

i am not soo inspirational or artistic to design my own mask for the party. 

 

of course, i didnt put on the mask along the way to the party. 

ok i think i was being a wet blanket, i didnt even put on the mask throughout the party. 

the party was held at grassroot club at YCK. 

was greeted by this beautiful banner on stage. 

 

at the entrance, we met sophia and of course took a picture with the birthday girl 

 

it had been awhile since i met Sophia. nearly 3 years plus? 

glad to see her once again this time. 

it was just a brief catch-up but i am sure there will be more in future.

eh... she is my primary and secondary classmates leh!! 

how to forget! 

before the dinner started, there were games and interactions with the people on the floor together with the emcees and the birthday girl.

 

food food!! 

i think the food served was good. 

 

bel, my only companion that night on the same table. 

 

lucky we were both assigned to the same table, if not i was sure bored to death.

 as usual, we continued our girl's talk. 

she surprised me that night.  

some of our sec sch friends were at the opposite table.

it was a pity we didnt manage to have much interaction with them.

nevertheless, meiqi came over for a pic together. 

and we joined the other for awhile during the party.
